About Sports Camp

If your camper has energy for days and a love of all types of sporting endeavors, our Sports Camp in Eugene is the program for them! Campers will be active and engaged while learning sports skills and strategy in this non-competitive program. Coaches and counselors will facilitate activities in a positive environment by emphasizing teamwork and good sportsmanship amongst campers. Mornings will be spent introducing campers to both traditional and non-traditional sports, and afternoons are comprised of lunchtime and free-choice activities.


Who can attend?

Open to all children who will be entering second through fifth grade in the fall.


When is the camp and how long does it last?

Sports Camps take place during the summer months. Each session lasts five days, unless otherwise specified.*

Drop-off for all campers in all camps will be from 7:45–9:00 a.m.; pick-up will be from 4:00–5:30 p.m.

* In Session 2 there will be no camp on July 4 and 5, in observance of Independence Day.


What activities will take place?

Campers will learn sports skills in a non-competitive environment.

  • Free-choice activities

What if my preferred session is full?

Families can add their campers directly to the waitlists. Please proceed to the online registration link below, log in with your account, and all full sessions will have a "Waitlist" button.


Registration

Registration for summer 2024 Sports Camp will open on the following dates:

  • Registration for Hyperquacktive (Rising 2nd and 3rd Graders) opens on Wednesday, March 20, at 1:00 p.m.
  • Registration for Quack Attack (Rising 4th and 5th Graders) opens on Thursday, March 21, at 1:00 p.m.

Cost of attendance is the estimated cost to attend the UO for the academic year. The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships provides estimates for cost of attendance information that goes beyond tuition and fees, and includes: living expenses (housing and food), books/supplies/equipment, transportation, and miscellaneous personal expenses.
