About Esports Arena

This program is tailored for middle school campers who are eager to immerse themselves in the world of competitive video gaming (esports) during their summer break. Open to all skill levels, this camp provides an opportunity for enthusiasts to enhance their proficiency in various esports games, fostering both personal growth and self-confidence with age-appropriate guardrails in place. Through focused training, participants will sharpen their gaming strategies and skills while also learning the importance of teamwork in a collaborative, team-oriented setting. After refining their gaming abilities, campers will engage in organized esports matches and mini-tournaments during the morning sessions. In the afternoons, campers will participate in camp games and have the opportunity to swim.


Who can attend?

Open to all children who will be entering sixth through eighth grade in the fall.


When is the camp and how long does it last?

Esports Arena takes place during the summer months. Each session lasts five days, unless otherwise specified.

Drop-off for all campers in all camps will be from 7:45–9:00 a.m.; pick-up will be from 4:00–5:30 p.m.


What activities will take place?

Activities offered vary based on session and availability.

  • In-house tournaments in games like League of Legends, Super Smash Bros, and Rocket League
  • Swimming
  • Camp games
  • Special events

What if my preferred session is full?

Families can add their campers directly to the waitlists. Please proceed to the online registration link below, log in with your account, and all full sessions will have a "Waitlist" button.

Registration for summer 2024 Esports Arena will open on Friday, March 22, at 1:00 p.m.

Cost of attendance is the estimated cost to attend the UO for the academic year. The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships provides estimates for cost of attendance information that goes beyond tuition and fees, and includes: living expenses (housing and food), books/supplies/equipment, transportation, and miscellaneous personal expenses.
