Membership Types

UO Students

University of Oregon students currently enrolled in classes and who have paid the Incidental Fees are allowed to use all areas of the Student Recreation Center. American English Institute (AEI), Community Education Program (CEP), High School Equivalency Program (HEP), Continuing Education Program (CEP), Master’s students taking non-fee bearing credits, and students who are not paying the fees qualify under this membership type but have to pay a membership fee if they are not paying Incidental Fees.

  1. Bring your UO ID card, proof of age, and visit the SRC Service Center located in the Main Lobby to pay the appropriate fees and fill out corresponding paperwork.

UO Off-Term Student

Students who are not currently taking classes but were enrolled the term prior are eligible to join the Student Recreation Center by paying a fee comparable to the Incidental Fees. Students may also qualify if they are accepted to the UO and have registered for classes for the following term.

  1. Bring your UO ID card, proof of age, and visit the SRC Service Center located in the Main Lobby to pay the appropriate fees and fill out corresponding paperwork.

UO Student Spouse/Partner/Dependent(s)

University of Oregon student spouse/partners/dependents are eligible to join the Student Recreation Center by paying the appropriate fees.

  1. Obtain a Community Card from the EMU card office ($10).
  2. Provide documentation to ASUO of marriage/domestic partnership or dependency to obtain a spousal/domestic partnership/dependent card.
  3. Bring your Community Card, proof of age, and visit the SRC Service Center located in the Main Lobby to pay the appropriate fees and fill out corresponding paperwork.

Faculty/Staff/Associate/ Retired Faculty/Staff/Emeritus

Current faculty, staff, and associates and retired faculty/staff and emeritus (determined by UO ID card and UO Directory) are eligible to join the Student Recreation Center by paying the appropriate fees.

  1. Bring your UO ID card, proof of age, and visit the SRC Service Center located in the Main Lobby to pay the appropriate fees and fill out corresponding paperwork.

Spouses/Partners/Dependants of Faculty/Staff/Associate/ Retired Faculty/Staff/Emeritus

Spouses/ Partners and Dependants of Faculty/Staff/Associates/Retired/ Emeritus are eligible to join the Student Recreation Center by paying the appropriate fees.

  1. Obtain a Community Card from the EMU card office ($10).
  2. Both the spouse/partner and the faculty/staff/associate/retired/emeritus member must be present at the time of purchase to sign an affidavit of marriage/domestic partnership.
  3. Bring your Community Card, proof of age, and visit the SRC Service Center located in the Main Lobby to pay the appropriate fees and fill out corresponding paperwork.

Alumni Members

Alumni Association members and True UO Alumni

Current members of the University of Oregon Alumni Association (determined by current UOAA membership card) and graduates of the University of Oregon are eligible to join the Student Recreation Center by paying the appropriate fees.

  1. Alumni members must either have a UO ID card or obtain a Community Card from the EMU card office ($10).
  2. Bring UO ID or Community Card, proof of age, and UOAA membership card or proof of graduation (diploma or transcript).
  3. Visit the SRC Service Center in the Main Lobby to fill out the appropriate paperwork and pay the fees.

Children/Dependent(s)

Must be 18 years or older to qualify for membership during the academic year. Child day passes are available only during the designated family hours and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Parent/Guardian must be present to sign required paperwork.

Eugene/Springfield Community Members

Individuals who are not associated with the University of Oregon as described by the above categories may apply for a membership to the Student Recreation Center. Day passes and access cards (multiple visit cards) are also available for purchase.

  1. Obtain a Community Card from the EMU card office ($10).
  2. Bring your Community Card, proof of age, and visit the SRC Service Center located in the Main Lobby to pay the appropriate fees and fill out corresponding paperwork.
