SPRING BREAK SPORTS CAMP: We regret to inform you that the Department of Physical Education and Recreation will no longer be offering Spring Break Sports Camp. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to see you in the summer at Sports-O-Rama!

NOTE: Due to the Olympic Track & Field trials, we will only be offering four camp sessions beginning July 14, 2008.

Days/Times: 9am - 12noon Monday through Friday
Dates:
- Session 1: July 14-18
- Session 2: July 21-25
- Session 3: July 28-August 1
- Session 4: August 4-8
Registration: begins in May
Cost: Single session is $85
With limited enrollment and its "recreation for life" approach, Sports-O Rama offers an intimate camp experience for children. Each week has a variety of individual and team sports, with the focus more on individual mastery than on competition. Children are divided into age groups for safety and fun, and skills are presented to the groups as they are developmentally ready. Campers swim on a daily basis. Beginning in May, we will register on a first come, first-served basis, until full.
Time: 9:00 am - 12 noon.
8:40am: Supervision at the meeting field is available.
8:55am: Groups leave the meeting field to start playing at 9am!
The way we form our groups reflects our developmental approach. Groups have four scheduled activity periods daily, and their group size ranges from 18-23 children with at least two instructors.
CAMP CARE: Optional camp care is available at a weekly rate for those campers who wish to remain late. After Care extends from noon-1:15pm. Cost is $15 per week.

Registration deadline: Register early and help us plan our resources, recruit the best instructors and order age-appropriate equipment!
Medical information: We need information about the child from the best source, parents/guardians. Please complete and sign before sending registration form.
Confirmation: Your canceled check is your confirmation. If there is any concern about your registration (such as camp being full or registration form needing more information), we will contact you immediately. In June, you will receive your PARENT PACKET with full details.
