DESCRIPTION OF OUR WORKOUTS

BODY SCULPTING
This workout features a full 50 minutes of muscular endurance training for the upper body, lower body and abdominals. We use weights, tubing, and body resistance to challenge every major muscle group in the body. Note: this class does not have a cardiovascular component.

BASIC STEP AEROBICS
Appropriate for beginning to intermediate level participants. Basic bench aerobics uses Step Reebok© equipment and incorporates simple step combinations for a fun and effective cardio workout. Muscular endurance and stretching exercises are also included.

CIRCUIT TRAINING
A series of stations alternating between strength, cardio and core exercises. This program is an excellent opportunity to fit a balanced workout into a short period of time. Gain motivation from the group atmosphere under the supervision of a fitness isntructor. Drop in any time during the hour.

CORE & STRETCH
A strong and stable core can enhance performance and reduce the likelihood of injury. Flexibility is also a critical and often neglected component of health-based physical fitness. Participants will develop both core strength and flexibility through a well-designed program of traditional sport-based and pilates-based exercises. Each session includes a warm-up, 20-plus minutes of abdominal and spine strengthening exercises, and 20 minutes of stretching.

FITNESS YOGA
This style of yoga is for bodies of all types and fitness/flexibility levels, incorporating fitness moves with traditional yoga postures in a flowing format. The practice is "user friendly" with modifications to welcome each partiticipant and adjust to their needs for the day. Enhance your daily performance by learning how to breathe properly, how to relax, and how to gain flexibility.

FITNESS YOGA-PILATES
This fusion class is a user-friendly combination of yoga and pilates-based mat workout that promotes strength, flexibility, balance and body awareness. Learn the skills to execute a variety of safe and effective movements in a flowing fitness class.

GROUP CYCLING
This course is designed for all fitness levels. as participants control their intensity on a specialized stationary cycle. Riding to motivating music, this all-terrain indoor cycling class simulates the outdoors and works the body as various resistance levels and speeds.

HIP HOP
Work up a sweat while you get your groove on.  This dance-based workout borrows steps and styles from a multitude of genres to form a hip hop routine.  No experience is required; you'll be amazed at your own dance-ability!

KICK BOX AEROBICS
Take your training to the next level with this dynamic workout.  We combine kicking and punching techniques with cardio and strength exercises.  This is a challenging aerobic workout with no contact involved.  It's not a self-defense class, just a fun and exciting way to move to music!

TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING
Add variety to your workout with intervals of exercises for muscular endurance, strength, balance, cardiovascular training, agility, coordination and flexibility. Challenge your major muscle groups while keeping your heart rate up. Help build your strength, confidence and improve your quality of life.
