University of Oregon students currently enrolled in classes and who have paid the Incidental Fees are allowed to use all areas of the Student Recreation Center. American English Institute (AEI) students and Community Education Program (CEP) qualify under this membership type but may have to pay a membership fee if they are not paying Incidental Fees.
UO Off-Term Student
Students who are not currently taking classes but were enrolled the term prior are eligible to join the Student Recreation Center by paying a fee comparable to the Incidental Fees. Students may also qualify if they are accepted to the UO and have registered for classes for the following term.
UO Student Spouse/Partner/Dependent(s)
University of Oregon student spouse/partners/dependents are eligible to join the Student Recreation Center by paying the appropriate fees. Prior to purchasing membership the spouse/partner/dependent must:
- Obtain a Recreation Pass from the EMU card office ($10)
- Provide documentation to ASUO of marriage/domestic partnership or dependency to obtain a spousal/domestic partnership/dependent card
Current faculty, staff, and associates and their spouses/partners are eligible to join the Student Recreation Center by paying the appropriate fees.
Retired UO employees (determined by UO ID card) and their spouses/partners are eligible to join the Student Recreation Center by paying the appropriate fees.
Current members of the University of Oregon Alumni Association (determined by UOAA membership card) are eligible to join the Student Recreation Center by paying the appropriate fees.
Must be 18 years or older during the academic year and 16 or older during the summer term to qualify for membership. Child day passes are available only during the designated family hours and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Individuals who are not associated with the University of Oregon as described by the above categories may apply for a membership to the Student Recreation Center. Day passes and access cards (multiple visit cards) are also available for purchase.
- Community members must be sponsored by a current student, faculty/staff, or emeritus/retired patron in order to purchase a membership, day pass, or access card.
- Before purchasing a membership a Recreation Pass ($10) from the EMU Card Office must be obtained.
